When Candice and Jake asked us to shoot their Downtown Staunton engagement session we were thrilled! But when they gave us free rein to do whatever we wanted for the shoot we couldn’t have been anymore excited! The day started early when we met the couple at the Staunton Bowling Lanes where the fun began! It’s always fun shooting in new locations, and the bowling alley was a first for all of us.
After bowling a few frames we decided to head on over to the Visulite Cinemas for the next location in this fun engagement shoot! Scary 3D movies might not be the best thing for a first date, but Candice’s reaction was totally worth the fright! Thanks again to the staff at Visulite especially after we spilt popcorn… You guys are the best!
After leaving the movie theatre we walked around Downtown Staunton which has picturesque locations at just about every turn. The best part about engagement sessions for us are the chance to work with a couple before their wedding day, this is huge in the fact that they get to see us behind the camera and we get to see them in front of the camera. This helps to relieve any added stress/pressure the day of the wedding. Candice and Jake were total naturals in front of the camera and it really showed with the love these two share for each other!
To complete the day we finished with a delicious sundae from The Split Banana and a few more photos! Congratulations one more time to Candice & Jake on their engagement!!
