We are so excited to finally feature Jennifer and Tony’s Elizabethan Gardens wedding and Village beach club wedding reception on the blog today!
We met Jen when she worked for Mama Kwans in Kill Devil Hills and shortly after, Ryan played in a golf tournament at the Carolina Club with Tony. Needless to say, we instantly became friends with both of them and we we’re ecstatic when they asked us to photograph their wedding. They are the most hilarious couple we have worked with and shooting their wedding was an absolute blast!! Photographing Jen & Tony was an absolute dream and we had the opportunity to work along side of many top notch vendors!!
As you probably know from our previous blog posts, we love a first look!! Being able to capture those special moments before the ceremony is truly the best thing ever. We were able to take Jen and Tony on a photographic journey through the beautiful Elizabethan Gardens with their awesome wedding party. If you have never been to the gardens, do yourself a favor and just go! There is so much beauty to see on the grounds and it definitely should somehow be incorporated into your vacation or wedding on the Outer Banks.
After we wrapped up some amazing photos with Jen & Tony, we journeyed over to the Village Beach Club where their ceremony and reception took place. The amazing Heather Clark with A Premier Event coordinated the event effortlessly! Debra Sinkage with Icing on the Cakes provided the most gorgeous cake ever along with a yummy display of cupcakes! If you know Jen, then you also know that she is an amazing baker herself and she provided an array of desserts to add in her special touch to her wedding. The Village Beach club served some of the most scrumptious food for these two foodies and the venue is an amazing place for a wedding. They recently went through some renovations after Jen & Tony’s wedding so if you have the chance, please check them out 🙂
Ocean Atlantic Rentals provided the beautiful Arbor for the beach ceremony and the white ceremony chairs. They are an awesome company to work with and they always do such an amazing job. Paulette Benz with The Twisted Pearl amazes us every time with her beautiful flowers and she did such a gorgeous job for Jen & Tony’s wedding. DJ Jeffery Boseman had the guests dancing the night away as he spun the tunes for their big day! Now for my favorite part of the whole wedding… Jen & Tony hired a Caricature Artist that they both met at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg VA! His name is Joshua Roberts and if you ever thought that you might want someone to do this at your event, please do! It was so awesome and guests loved it!
All in all, this was definitely one of our favorite weddings and we are so happy to share this blog with you. Congratulations Jen & Tony! We love you both!
