Lisa & Lyle’s Grace Estate Winery Wedding in Crozet, VA was the epitome of perfection! We just can’t get over the perfection of this wedding (From the natural beauty of this bride to the gorgeous flowers). When a photographer mentions “a perfect lighting situation”, they are longing for days like this when the sky is full of clouds and just enough light pours through to create amazing images for a bride & groom’s big day! The first time that we met Lisa & Lyle was through a Skype meeting that took place months before their wedding. You could really tell how excited they were for their big day and hearing them describe their wedding and venue made us super excited as well! We have never been to Grace Estates Winery and with the venue being almost brand new to the wedding venue market, we were so pumped to be a part of Lisa & Lyle’s wedding day!
When we arrived to the venue, Lisa and her ladies were calm, cool, and collected as they were primping and preparing for the hour when Lisa would see her groom for the very first time. Moxie Hair and Body Lounge made every bridesmaid and of course, the bride looked absolutely lovely! Like you all know, we LOVE when a bride and groom choose to have a “first look”. We were so excited that this couple chose to do just that for their wedding day and we were able to capture so many beautiful images before the ceremony even started!!
The ceremony was so beautiful overlooking the valley and surrounded by mountains in the distance. Guests arrived via shuttle services provided by Easy Rider Bus Company. With the threat of bad weather, they chose to hold their ceremony inside of the tent and everything was just breathtaking, even though it didn’t rain! The beautiful tent was provided by FDS Tents. This wasn’t our first time working with Sacred Ground Ceremonies and we are so pleased every time we get to work with them! They created such a beautiful ceremony for Lisa & Lyle.
The tables were adorned with beautiful flower arrangements and the color palette was an array of teals, turquoise, peach, purple, and hints of green. It was just breathtaking! All flower arrangements, bouquets, and boutonniere’s were provided by Wegman’s floral department and they did a fantastic job! Lisa & Lyle’s guests enjoyed cuisine prepared by C&O Restaurant and of course amazing libations courtesy of Grace Estates Winery! The entire afternoon/evening was breathtaking! Guests also enjoyed games on the lawn, the amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the music by the Malcolm Todd McDonald Band.
