Cheran & Chris’ Neuse Breeze wedding located right outside of Emerald Isle, NC was absolute perfection. We were so excited and very much looking forward to photograph in a completely different area of North Carolina! Don’t get me wrong, the Outer Banks is one of the most picturesque area’s in this state, but let me tell you that Neuse Breeze was by far one of our favorite venues to date. There are so many amazing locations right on the Neuse river and not only was this venue located on the water, you still have farmland that surrounds the grounds.
A little backstory to this wedding: Cheran and Chris are from Ryan & I’s hometown in Virginia. We met Cheran a few years ago as she was a friend to Ryan’s brother and Chris was actually a Groomsman in a wedding we photographed a few years ago. These two lovebirds are one of the most amazing couples that we know. When we arrived at the venue, we were immediately greeted with southern hospitality and smiling faces from their family and friends. Cheran and her bridesmaids were adorned in their floral robes and I cannot forget the little ones.. they were absolutely adorable in their robes as well 🙂
As Cheran stepped into her gorgeous mermaid style wedding gown, you could just see all of the emotion in the room! She was radiating with so much beauty as she patiently waited to walk down the aisle towards the love of her life. Christopher and the Groomsmen were nothing short of stylish in their leather suspenders and coral ties (I am a sucker for suspenders) and the bridesmaids looked stunning in their sea glass aqua colored dresses.
There was definitely not a dry eye at the ceremony as they vowed to be together for the rest of their lives. The weather was touch and go for a while during the ceremony as dark clouds and lighting rolled through in the distance, but it made for some of the most beautiful ceremony photos. Thanking God and the heavens above, we were able to photograph every single aspect of their entire event outdoors with just a few drops of rain here and there.
A special Thanks to all of the wonderful vendors involved in their big day (listed below), but I have to send a special shout out to Rachel (owner of Bridal by the Sea) as she was amazing in ensuring that the time line for their wedding was absolutely perfect! She was such a terrific wedding planner and ensured that we had extra time during the sunset hour to get these epic photos!
