We met Patty and Mike at King Family Vineyards in Crozet, Virginia to photograph their engagement session. The best part about our job is getting to meet many awesome new couples! Of course we had been chatting with them through email weeks prior, but it’s always more fun to hang out in person! We enjoyed hearing about both of their families in Miami, and how the two of them met for the first time. During the shoot Patty had mentioned how she had been pouring a lot of her time into studying for her Bar exam, we joked about facebook being a huge distraction especially when you’re trying to study for something!
For our shoot the weather couldn’t have been any better, blue skies, soft breeze, and perfect temperatures! The vineyards at King Family were in their peak and couldn’t have looked any better for pictures. We’d like to send a very special thanks to the grounds crew for cleaning out the stables just for us to use, we really appreciated that!
After leaving the vineyard, we decided to make a trip over to Downtown Charlottesville since the weather couldn’t have been any more beautiful. We had a great time strolling the downtown mall and taking pictures along the way. It was also nice to meet another couple that are foodies just like we are, we exchanged some of our favorite spots for the area. 🙂 We had such a great time working with Patty and Mike to capture their engagement session photos.
